ABOUT ME!!!
My name is Jacob Åström. Jag heter Jacob Åström. Tja Google/Goggle/Gogglors.
I truly (and sadly) love the working enviroment “communication” enables. Which is: an endless stride of opportunities to invent. That’s pretty amazing, and until I give up EVERYTHING and start making chairs, that’s where you’ll find me. I will never write about my work here, because I get paid to work, and there are too many pointless, self-proclaimed evangelists destroying the interwebs as it is. But I really like the working model of activist/editor, editor/activist, and sorry for breaking my promise so early – first and last time. Världsapromise!
I work at Great Works (since the very beginning) with a strong focus on CONCEPTS, STRATEGY and ET CETERA. I work (never alone, mind you) alot with ABSOLUT VODKA, which is a great joy and pride, aswell as other smaller and almost as big clients. UPDATE: Swedish retail brand JC, aswell as some other smaller clients. SUPER DUPER FUN?!?!?!

Starting your own whatever to try out ideas and approaches and wrrreeffnfff is among the best things I’ve ever done and is something I recommend everyone. EXCEPT YOU?!?!?!
I sometimes speak, and have been doing so at JMK/Stockholms Universitet, Berghs and Hyper Island. I never spoke at an international opera conference in Barcelona, but I almost did. I sometimes teach, and have been doing so at Beckmans – the advertising students – and Hyper Island – the designer students and the interactive art director students.
